We have two big aims with our sporting provision. One is to get all children active and enjoying sport, finding a sport they love, and the other is to ensure children can progress and excel in competition.
Sporting clubs provide the opportunity for both. In recent times we have run archery, dodgeball, multi-skills, tennis, cricket, cross-county, athletics, rounders, football (for girls and boys), netball and gymnastics. Kenilworth schools join together to provide opportunities to compete and children do so in cross country, football, netball, cricket, athletics (field and track), rounders and swimming. We also take part in intra school competitions like ‘Sports-hall athletics’. At Clinton, because we’re a small school, all children get that experience of representing the school and they feel proud to do so.
