CHIME (Clinton Helping In Musical Education) is Clinton’s charity which supports musical education within the school. Read About CHIME, and also please do see our CHIME Membership Leaflet for families of children in KS1 families of children in KS2.

What do we do? Mainly we raise funds so that Clinton can provide a richer, more accessible musical education than a school normally could. Over the years we have:

  • Funded performances by professional musicians from around the world
  • Provided musical instruments to classrooms in both KS1 and KS2
  • Funded the Orchestra
  • Part-funded the music room so it is one of the best-equipped music rooms in Warwickshire!

This was recognised in the recent OFSTED report: March 2014 which mentions the ‘wide range of learning opportunities beyond the normal timetable, such as the excellent school orchestra’

Last year (2015-2016) we were able to donate £3000 to the school budget, and we are hoping to raise more this year – no mean feat for a small charity.
